Chief of Police Rushty Harrelson is the 1th Chief of Police of the San Andreas Police Department, Chief Rushty oversees the third largest police department in the United States, managing 10,000 sworn officers and 3,000 civilian employees, encompassing an area of 473 square miles, a population of approximately 3.8 million people, and an annual budget that exceeds one billion dollars.

Chief of Police Rushty Harrelson was born in Tokyo, Japan on February the 3rd 1965 and was appointed as Chief of Police on January the 1st 2020 replacing the retiring Chief of Police Jackson Rodriguez. Chief Rushty is a 35 years veteran within the Law Enforcement Agencies, he was serving as Sheriff of the San Andreas Sheriff’s Department before its merger on August 2015 with the Los Santos Police Department creating the new State based Police Agency.

At the time, he received honorable Assistant Chief of Police rank, which he later demoted to the Deputy Chief of Police due to his absence leave on late 2016. After the 6th Chief of Police Juan Asterix resigned from the department, later Chief Rushty got reinstated back to his old rank as Assistant Chief of Police by Chief Jackson.

Chief Rushty is well contributed member of the San Andreas Police Department, under his watch he made the Emergency Task Force back there scared among the criminals, and later he had to disbanded the Emergency Task Force due to its notorious criminal killing scandal back there.

On November 2017, Chief Rusty was appointed as Interim Chief of Police replacing Chief Jackson due to Chief Jackson absence leave at that time. As an Interim Chief of Police, Chief Rushty only led the Police Department for a few months before Chief Jackson absence was ended.

Chief of Police Rushty is also a successful businessman, he founded and currently become the commissioner of the Rushty Company, a company that host a few businesses and farms included the notorious Idlewood Pizza Stack. Chief Rushty enjoyed deer hunting, which contributed a lot to his Sniper Marksmanship, he competes regularly on local deer hunting event across the San Andreas.
